Responsibilities
- Explain the shift from traditional SEO to AI-driven visibility to C-level marketing and digital executives.
- Own technical discovery, solution validation, proof-of-concept development, and objection handling.
- Translate complex technical problems into compelling business-focused stories for executive buyers.
- Partner with Account Executives on enterprise opportunities and support large deal cycles.
- Demonstrate Semrush integrations with digital experience platforms, Salesforce, and enterprise CMS systems.
- Position Semrush against competing SEO and data platforms such as BrightEdge, Conductor, and SimilarWeb.
- Provide enterprise client feedback to Product teams regarding APIs, data integration, and product enhancements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, post-sales, or solutions engineering within a SaaS company.
- Proven ability to assist with and close six- and seven-figure deals.
- Deep familiarity with the MarTech and SEO ecosystem, including experience with tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Conductor, BrightEdge, or SimilarWeb.
- Digital agency experience or experience running high-volume SEO or digital campaigns is preferred.
- Proficiency with formal sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and develop effective product demonstrations.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, APIs, and enterprise CMS structures such as Adobe AEM and Contentful.
- Exceptional storytelling, emotional resilience, and stamina for complex enterprise sales cycles.
