Responsibilities
- Partner with sales to conduct customer discovery and translate clinical and business challenges into workflow recommendations.
- Support solution demonstrations, executive presentations, RFP responses, strategic account plans, deal reviews, and value propositions.
- Assess clinical, financial, front-office, and back-office workflows and recommend solution optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, services, solution leadership, and cross-functional teams on scoping, program planning, messaging, and implementation transitions.
- Provide solution feedback, knowledge transfer, market insights, client-facing materials, and mentoring or team-lead oversight.
- Represent pre-sales at user groups, trade shows, and professional organizations.
- Contribute to quota, bookings, team event targets, and strategic healthcare engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience and 6-8 years of healthcare experience.
- At least 5 years of healthcare information technology vendor experience and 5 years of NextGen Healthcare experience.
- Expert knowledge of NextGen solutions, healthcare workflows, clinical practice models, and relevant markets or specialties.
- Executive-level presentation skills and training or certification in executive-level presentations.
- NextGen Certified Professional (NCP) certification and Certified Practice Management/Electronic Health Records credentials.
- Credentialed or licensed nurse, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant qualification.
- Strong sales-process, analytical, problem-solving, project-management, communication, discovery, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead discovery, provide consultative guidance, manage multiple engagements, mentor others, and meet deadlines and quota targets.
