Responsibilities
- Build, ship, validate, maintain, and continuously improve production-ready software using AI as a core part of the engineering lifecycle.
- Guide engineering teams on software architecture, design practices, technology choices, quality, and compliance.
- Oversee complex projects from concept through production and drive successful product delivery.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and foster continuous learning.
- Set technical direction, make high-stakes decisions, and lead technical architecture for SaaS products.
- Work with product management and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and product goals.
- Lead teams as a product owner and drive the delivery of the product vision.
- Drive innovation and translate AI, LLM, automation, and engineering-toolchain advances into business and productivity impact.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams across business strategy, product strategy, technical design, and implementation.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of .NET full-stack development experience.
- At least eight years of experience in software development or engineering roles.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Expertise in multiple programming languages, including .NET.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices.
- Deep knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining SaaS applications.
- Proficiency with containerization and infrastructure as code using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems and data architecture.
- Understanding of security best practices and frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and set technical direction.
- Proven experience leading complex, large-scale projects and demonstrating technical leadership and architectural design skills.
- Experience with cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives and a strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and balance short- and long-term product goals.
