Responsibilities
- Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices for backend applications.
- Design and develop technical solutions based on business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
- Lead technical aspects of API framework design and development.
- Assess application and process improvement opportunities and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
- Communicate risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and upcoming tasks to stakeholders and teams.
- Support understanding of production incidents and root-cause analysis for delivered features.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience focused on Java, microservices, and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, web services, microservices, SOAP, and REST.
- Knowledge of Kafka and databases.
- Experience with at least one of GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Experience with TDD and BDD.
- Preferred familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins and GitLab.
- Working knowledge of Camunda BPM.
