Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver a user-friendly rider application.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain mobile infrastructure services for Via's apps.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve critical production issues under high-pressure situations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hands-on iOS app development.
- Proficiency in Swift for iOS app development.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVP), SwiftUI, UIKit, and RESTful APIs.
- Expertise in optimizing app performance, memory management, and debugging complex issues.
- Knowledge of concurrent programming using async-await, GCD, or Operation Queues.
- Familiarity with iOS frameworks such as Core Location and MapKit, as well as third-party frameworks like Google Maps.
- Experience mentoring and guiding engineers within your team.
- Proactive attitude with a strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong collaborative mindset and attention to detail in pull requests.
