Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver a high-quality rider application.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain the mobile infrastructure services powering Via’s applications.
- Manage and evolve Via’s multi-platform UI and automation testing infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve critical production issues quickly to minimize user disruption.
- Mentor and guide engineers on the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on iOS app development experience.
- Proficiency in Swift for iOS development.
- Understanding of MVC, MVVM, and MVP architecture patterns, SwiftUI, UIKit, and RESTful APIs.
- Expertise in app performance optimization, memory management, and debugging complex issues.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming with async-await, Grand Central Dispatch, or Operation Queues.
- Knowledge of Core Location, MapKit, and Google Maps.
- Experience mentoring and guiding engineers.
- Strong collaboration, adaptability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
