Base Salary
$229k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions and serve as the primary technical advisor during customer sales cycles.
- Design and architect Splunk deployments across enterprise IT environments, cloud architectures, and digital business systems.
- Develop and deliver customized product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Translate security and observability capabilities into business value for executive stakeholders.
- Partner with Account Executives, Product Management, and Professional Services on customer strategies.
- Create reusable technical assets, white papers, and demonstration environments.
- Present at industry conferences and internal forums on cyber resilience, observability, and data analytics.
- Conduct on-site customer assessments and strategic planning sessions as needed.
Requirements
- Requires 5 to 7 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.
- Requires deep understanding of SIEM, SOAR, threat detection, and/or observability principles including APM and infrastructure monitoring.
- Requires the ability to explain complex technical concepts and lead technical workshops and whiteboard sessions.
- Requires experience with large-scale data platforms or log management solutions; Splunk certification or equivalent platform expertise is highly preferred.
- Preferred experience includes AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern application architectures involving microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred proficiency in data modeling, Python, PowerShell, Bash, and API integration.
- Preferred knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, enterprise compliance standards, and manufacturing organizations or software providers serving manufacturing.
- Requires willingness and ability to travel to customer sites.
