Responsibilities
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers, prospects, customers, and channel partners on pre-sales technical account activities.
- Lead product demonstrations and explain Vectra technologies clearly and concisely.
- Drive pre-sales activities through deal closure, including POCs, RFP/RFI responses, deployment reviews, and forecast calls.
- Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of Vectra products, competitors, and the security landscape.
- Build technical relationships, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with customers on technology reviews, findings, and integrations.
- Work with Product Management, R&D, customers, and other Vectra Engineers on product features and customer-focused technical projects.
- Travel within the assigned region as needed.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a similar technical or pre-sales capacity.
- Experience managing large accounts.
- Deep understanding of security-focused platforms such as CASB, EDR, SIEM, or digital forensics products.
- Understanding of networking and the L2 through L7 OSI layers.
- Strong written communication for RFPs and verbal communication for pre-sales presentations and conferences.
- Understanding of attacker progression, including Red Team or penetration-testing concepts.
- Understanding of SOC workflows and incident response methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud security, cloud detection and response, CSPM, CNAPP, CASB, cloud purple teaming, and ITDR concepts.
- Business proficiency in English.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, SC 200, AZ 104, AZ500, CCSK, OSCP, CRTA, CRTP, or CRTO are preferred.
