Responsibilities

  • Manage network assurance integration demands and associated project timelines.
  • Translate high-level solution and architecture designs into detailed component-level software designs.
  • Guide vendor teams and internal developers through requirements clarification, code reviews, deliverable reviews, and ownership of the final codebase.
  • Lead and mentor small internal and vendor development teams and introduce development toolsets to improve efficiency.
  • Own alarm plans and configurations supporting network alarming, auto-ticketing, and auto-restoration, and review them with operations and engineering teams.
  • Provide L3 support for OSS Operations teams by diagnosing and implementing code or configuration fixes.
  • Manage source code, build pipelines, and deployment tools.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of IT experience with strong hands-on software engineering capability.
  • Experience with TeMIP adapter coding, IBM Netcool configuration, OpenNMS SNMP Manager, Nokia Assurance Centre Fault Management and Performance Management, and Nokia UIV modelling is highly regarded.
  • High-level proficiency in Java and Groovy, with experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale systems.
  • Strong database skills across relational, NoSQL, and graph databases, including schema design, SQL, and performance tuning.
  • Strong development skills in Apache NiFi and Kafka, including flow design and system integration patterns.
  • Strong development skills in Camunda and Drools, including BPMN modelling and workflow automation.
  • Broad technical exposure across infrastructure, Linux and Windows operating systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and integration technologies.
  • Experience managing vendors or offshore development teams, including guiding technical direction, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring quality outcomes.
