Chief Architect - Observability ( Dynatrace ) & DevOps

Responsibilities
- Define enterprise observability strategy, gold standards, reference architectures, technology roadmaps, governance, and adoption metrics.
- Own Dynatrace SaaS architecture, configuration, deployment patterns, OneAgent, ActiveGate, instrumentation, access controls, tagging, and platform optimization.
- Establish observability patterns for APM, infrastructure, cloud, Kubernetes, databases, APIs, distributed tracing, logs, metrics, synthetic monitoring, and digital experience monitoring.
- Implement telemetry collection, application onboarding, dashboards, alerting, Golden Signals, SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and performance baselines.
- Lead hands-on Dynatrace implementation, enterprise adoption, complex troubleshooting, event correlation, anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and alert-noise reduction.
- Integrate Dynatrace with ServiceNow ITSM, AIOps platforms, incident-management systems, APIs, and operational automation tools.
- Lead technology assessments, proofs of value, technical demonstrations, build-versus-buy-versus-partner recommendations, and architecture workshops.
- Define and govern secondary DevOps and DevSecOps standards covering source control, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, automated testing, artifact management, containers, Kubernetes, GitOps, release management, and secure software delivery.
- Develop reusable architecture assets including configurations, dashboards, alerting templates, onboarding frameworks, CI/CD templates, IaC modules, runbooks, maturity assessments, POV frameworks, and Architecture Decision Records.
- Measure and improve observability coverage, application availability, SLO attainment, MTTD, MTTR, incident recurrence, CI/CD standardization, security, and engineering efficiency.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in technology architecture, application performance engineering, infrastructure, observability, or related disciplines.
- Mandatory strong hands-on Dynatrace SaaS expertise covering architecture, configuration, implementation, application onboarding, and enterprise-scale adoption.
- Deep knowledge of Dynatrace APM, OneAgent, ActiveGate, distributed tracing, service topology, Davis AI capabilities, anomaly detection, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience defining observability architectures, instrumentation standards, dashboards, alerting, Golden Signals, SLIs, SLOs, and performance baselines.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across complex applications, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience integrating Dynatrace with ServiceNow ITSM, APIs, AIOps platforms, and operational automation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technology proofs of value, define enterprise standards, and drive hands-on implementation and adoption.
- Strong working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Terraform or Infrastructure as Code, containers, Kubernetes, GitOps, and DevSecOps practices.
- Proven enterprise architecture, stakeholder-management, technical-evangelism, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenTelemetry, hybrid cloud, SRE, reliability engineering, incident management, and operational automation.
- Familiarity with Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana is preferred.
- Relevant Dynatrace certifications or equivalent demonstrated technical expertise are preferred.
