Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain distributed systems and microservices using Golang, with Node.js, Java, C, or C++ as needed.
- Build and maintain RESTful and gRPC APIs.
- Deploy scalable web applications in Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS environments.
- Develop applications or scripts that interact with native operating-system frameworks.
- Use automated CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, to build, test, and ship software.
- Use AI tools during software and product development and testing cycles.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams on reusable Vue.js components for full-stack work.
- Participate in assigned on-call shifts and respond to alerts.
- Work effectively with geographically distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional production experience.
- Strong proficiency in Golang or Go and understanding of object-oriented backend environments.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies, preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong knowledge of one or more of Go, Java, Python, TypeScript, or other programming languages.
- Strong foundation in software engineering design principles and patterns.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and RESTful/gRPC APIs.
- English fluency in speaking and writing.
- Ability to troubleshoot, work through ambiguity, collaborate effectively, and deliver incremental value.
- Experience with native operating-system frameworks is preferred.
- Swift, Objective-C, or C++ experience is a significant differentiator.
- Knowledge of Apple MDM/DDM/ADE, Android Enterprise, or Windows MDM protocols is highly valued.
