Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD platforms and supporting infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Administer and upgrade Azure DevOps platform components, application servers, and build agents.
- Develop reusable CI/CD pipelines, templates, automation scripts, and deployment solutions.
- Design and maintain Kubernetes container platforms, including Azure and Rancher/RKE2 environments.
- Package and deploy applications using Helm charts and Kubernetes-native deployment mechanisms.
- Provide technical support, training, and knowledge transfer to development teams on CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
- Collect, analyze, and report platform metrics such as cycle time, time-to-value, uptime, error rates, and platform usage.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant IT professional experience, including at least 3 years administering Azure DevOps Server and at least 2 years deploying applications on Kubernetes environments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent minimum education level 6 qualification.
- At least one recognized Kubernetes certification, such as CKAD or CKA, or an equivalent internationally recognized certification.
- Expert knowledge of Azure DevOps Server and Azure DevOps Services administration.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, configuration, and automation, plus application containerization and Kubernetes deployment.
- Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools and methodologies such as Terraform or Puppet.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) certification is desirable.
