Base Salary
$115k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support PACER products and internal Judiciary systems.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, operate, and maintain software across the full software development lifecycle.
- Build secure web services and enterprise software using the specified programming languages, frameworks, and Linux tooling.
- Develop and manage automated DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines for multiple applications.
- Implement secure engineering practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities for PCI, FISMA, ATO, and other security standards.
- Define and maintain system and software architectures and support integration across internal and external systems.
- Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, system tuning, continuity-of-operations planning, and disaster-recovery testing.
- Manage software configurations, version control, source-code repositories, and change-control processes.
- Create use cases, test cases, validation results, technical documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools and provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in IT systems engineering, systems development, systems coding, and programming.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security compliance and security controls.
- Proficiency in C, Java, JSF, Tomcat, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, and/or Linux shell.
- Strong experience with automated DevSecOps pipelines, DevOps processes, Red Hat Linux, cloud APIs, cloud technologies, and the full DevOps pipeline.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bash, Subversion, and JetBrains Tool Suite.
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for a wide variety of applications.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications.
- Working knowledge of source version control, build and release tools, software build processes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong security-first mindset and ability to adapt to different enterprise security requirements.
- Preferred experience with Perl.
- Excellent presentation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and customer relationship skills.
