Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and evangelize Splunk products and services through customer sessions, webinars, and field events.
- Lead discovery calls and identify and validate customer opportunities independently or with sales counterparts.
- Build and maintain customer and partner relationships throughout and beyond the sales cycle.
- Conduct onsite and virtual customer engagements, including Proof of Value/Concept demonstrations and workshops.
- Address complex technical inquiries, guide customers, and resolve concerns to support successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, working practices, and customer success.
- Represent Splunk at user groups, marketing events, and industry events.
Requirements
- Proven enterprise pre-sales experience with a technical focus, ideally 5+ years.
- Ability to understand complex application environments and machine data sources, including logs, security data, and network data.
- Experience with observability solutions such as APM, RUM, and OTEL, and/or security solutions such as SIEM, SOAR, and vulnerability detection.
- Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to customers and partners.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value and improve processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of Splunk solutions and experience demonstrating their value to enterprise customers is preferred.
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and practical adoption of AI capabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with open-source technologies, search engines, and query languages is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, plus the ability to work in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
