Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select technologies.
- Review code from other developers and provide feedback on quality, testability, efficiency, and coding practices.
- Maintain documentation and educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience developing accessible technologies is preferred.
- Prior executive leadership experience is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Tech Lead or Lead Software Engineer is preferred.
