Base Salary
$210k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Design to define and build user experiences across the full stack.
- Own and evolve frontend and backend architecture for scalability and performance.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend systems using React and Next.js.
- Design and build robust backend services and APIs in Python with Django.
- Establish full-stack engineering standards, including testing strategies and CI/CD best practices.
- Drive cross-team technical initiatives aligning architecture with product strategy.
- Identify technical risks and opportunities, providing clear direction and tradeoff analysis.
- Mentor engineers across frontend and backend disciplines to improve code quality.
- Design and implement automation tests across the full stack.
- Define and monitor full-stack metrics to inform product and technical decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Proficiency in backend development using Python and Django, including RESTful API design.
- Experience with frontend architecture, including state management and performance optimization.
- Experience designing and operating backend systems at scale, including databases and API integrations.
- Experience building production applications using server-side and client-side rendering.
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices across the SDLC.
- 4+ years of industry experience in both frontend and backend development.
- Experience in cloud-based environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
