Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Build and support high-performance RESTful APIs, Web APIs, distributed services, and service-oriented systems.
- Develop scalable solutions using multithreading, asynchronous programming, and distributed architecture patterns.
- Implement and maintain data-access layers with Entity Framework Core and/or ADO.NET.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and database-intensive workloads.
- Support, troubleshoot, and modernize WinForms and WPF desktop applications.
- Integrate external systems, APIs, messaging platforms, and data services.
- Participate in architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and production support.
- Collaborate across business and technology teams while improving system, process, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, RESTful API and Web API development, multithreading, concurrent programming, distributed systems, async/await, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Required strong experience with Node.js; React.js experience is a plus.
- Strong SQL query development and optimization skills, with experience in Snowflake, SQL Server, or another relational database.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments; talented junior candidates are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience delivering and supporting business-critical applications and services.
- Python, Apache Kafka or other event-streaming and messaging platform, cloud-native and microservices architecture, CI/CD and DevOps practices, and Sigma Computing experience are preferred or advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and execution skills.
