Staff Software Engineer, Revenue Systems

Responsibilities
- Own the architectural vision and design for critical revenue-system areas
- Translate high-level system vision into estimated project plans for strategic initiatives
- Serve as technical lead and cross-functional liaison on business-critical projects
- Make and defend engineering decisions tied to business outcomes
- Mentor engineers and help them deliver higher-quality work with greater autonomy
- Drive engineering excellence and technical leadership through design reviews, assumption testing, and shared understanding
- Set the team’s engineering quality bar through regular code contributions across billing, orders, and payments
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience specifying, delivering, and maintaining complex distributed backend services
- Significant experience with multiple programming languages, especially Java
- Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, databases, and a broad range of engineering tools
- Demonstrated experience leading system architecture decisions across multiple teams or initiatives
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects and align engineering and business goals
- Experience working with billing, orders, or payment systems at scale
