Base Salary
$165k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead resolution of complex cross-functional technical challenges and drive major engineering initiatives to completion.
- Define the long-term technical roadmap and strategy for core SRE platforms and services.
- Architect, scope, and deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure solutions while balancing effort, risk, and business impact.
- Set standards for clean, efficient, and well-documented code and drive organization-wide operational best practices.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Develop, configure, and maintain AWS accounts and networking, Kubernetes clusters, and related infrastructure platforms.
- Develop and maintain observability and monitoring tools, including SLOs and SLIs.
- Develop and maintain software development and CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions runners and Argo CD.
- Act as an escalation point for complex operational issues outside the on-call schedule.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in infrastructure management or backend software development in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
- Deep technical expertise in Python, JavaScript, or Unix Shell.
- Extensive experience architecting, deploying, monitoring, and scaling AWS production workloads across multiple accounts and regions.
- Deep expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, advanced CI/CD pipelines, and Docker/containerization best practices.
- Experience leading technical projects with significant cross-functional impact.
- Ability to operate in an escalation-focused environment and communicate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.
