Base Salary
$115k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and testing.
- Apply software design patterns to class and data models for given requirements.
- Develop RESTful web services and work across software development lifecycle phases.
- Communicate with product owners, customers, and business stakeholders about the team’s work.
- Stay current with industry changes and bring new concepts to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of software engineering experience, or a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field with demonstrated knowledge of the required areas.
- Two years of experience with software development lifecycle phases, software design patterns, RESTful web services, object-oriented programming, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- One year of experience with data-stream processing technologies such as Kafka or Apache Spark for the bachelor’s-degree pathway.
