Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
- Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake’s value throughout the sales cycle, from demos and proofs of concept through design and implementation.
- Create and develop technical champions to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
- Present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, customers, and ecosystem partners.
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
- Build joint architectures and collaborate with implementation partners on account strategies and customer initiatives.
- Contribute to and help execute account and territory plans.
Requirements
- Solution engineering or solution architecture experience in a SaaS environment or relevant industry experience such as analytics, data science, or data engineering.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding, presentations, and demos.
- Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems using Snowflake’s solutions.
- Strong customer-facing written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: experience in financial services or other FSI environments.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Python.
- Preferred: experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
- Preferred: experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies.
