Responsibilities
- Scale and maintain infrastructure and services using AI as a collaborator.
- Provide technical direction and document strategies for team guidance.
- Lead and mentor other engineers on the team.
- Resolve complex infrastructure failures and manage escalated issues.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation approximately every six to eight weeks.
- Estimate schedules and break tasks into manageable segments.
- Drive cloud cost efficiency by identifying and rightsizing resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years managing medium to large-scale AWS deployments.
- 3+ years programming experience in Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Strong Kubernetes experience managing large-scale deployments.
- Proficient in Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and automation.
- Knowledge of networking and load-balancer technologies.
- Familiarity with open-source projects like Docker and Jenkins.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools for infrastructure automation.
