Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, implementation, testing, and release for the Core Services Backend team.
- Set technical direction for products and influence key engineering decisions.
- Build and support API-first, multi-tenant backend platforms using distributed and event-driven architectures.
- Promote engineering best practices, improve organizational capabilities, and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership teams to deliver technically valuable solutions.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- Expertise in backend engineering, system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience with Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, GraphQL, messaging technologies, SQL and NoSQL databases, Kafka, distributed caching, authentication protocols, and at least one major cloud platform.
- Experience with behavioral-driven development, domain-driven design, event-driven programming, functional programming, and microservice architecture.
- Strong collaboration, analytical, critical-thinking, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Jaeger or Tempo, Grafana, cloud-ready application design, Docker containerization, and orchestration.
