Responsibilities
- Contribute to full-stack software design, development, testing, verification, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to improve software quality, expand coverage, and increase release confidence.
- Build and enhance automated test pipelines for reliable and repeatable software delivery.
- Test and validate resilient, scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud applications running on AWS.
- Investigate and debug software issues with developers and quality engineering partners to identify root causes and solutions.
- Evaluate modern technologies, tools, and testing approaches to improve automation and engineering efficiency.
- Participate in design discussions, identify quality risks, and help ensure features meet functional and quality expectations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Python, or a comparable modern programming language.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, automated test execution, and CI/CD concepts.
- Foundational knowledge of software testing, test design, debugging, and automated testing.
- Understanding of software development fundamentals and interest in the full software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and sprint-based teamwork.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of AI concepts and AI-powered development tools, with interest in applying them to testing and engineering workflows.
- Preferred qualifications include exposure to Selenium or Playwright, familiarity with AWS and cloud computing, and familiarity with Git, source control, and code review workflows.
- Interest in learning new programming languages, development tools, testing approaches, and cloud technologies.
