Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-enhanced automated tests for user interfaces and backend microservices.
- Develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable automated testing pipelines.
- Use Kiro, Amazon Q Developer, Amazon Bedrock, and Claude for debugging, research, test development, and refactoring.
- Critically evaluate AI-generated code and recommendations for accuracy, maintainability, security, and meaningful test coverage.
- Build dashboards and defect analysis capabilities to identify quality trends.
- Investigate performance and software behavior using testing, debugging, and observability tools.
- Create evidence-based tests throughout the software development lifecycle and collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong programming fundamentals in Java, Python, or a comparable object-oriented language.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of software testing, debugging, automation, or quality engineering fundamentals.
- Interest or experience in GenAI, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted software development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- Preferred experience includes Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, Jenkins, Maven, Git, Bitbucket, Kiro, Amazon Q Developer, Amazon Bedrock, Claude, Sumo Logic, JQL, New Relic, SSMS, or Confluence.
