Base Salary
$156k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate UX research, interaction designs, and visual specifications into scalable, performant front-end implementations.
- Develop and maintain reusable UI components aligned with design-system and UI-kit standards.
- Contribute to full-stack development and collaborate with backend engineers on APIs and system architecture.
- Steward design-system governance, including typography, color systems, spacing, tokens, and component usage.
- Lead and mentor UI developers through design-thinking practices, technical guidance, reviews, training, and onboarding.
- Build high-fidelity prototypes and proof-of-concepts using modern front-end frameworks.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design intent, technical constraints, and business goals.
- Establish front-end quality, testing, accessibility, maintainability, and inclusive-design standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
- 8+ years of front-end or full-stack development experience with strong UX/UI collaboration.
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React or similar front-end frameworks.
- Strong understanding of interaction design, usability, information architecture, design systems, component libraries, and design tokens.
- Strong proficiency translating Figma designs into production code.
- Experience collaborating in cross-functional agile teams.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise software development, large-scale design-system development, complex system design, backend technologies and APIs such as Node.js and Python, and AI-assisted development or design-to-code tooling.
