Responsibilities
- Advance frontend UI delivery and ensure interfaces are fluid, responsive, visually polished, and performant across target platforms.
- Own the health of the UI asset pipeline and develop custom artist-facing tools and modern production workflows.
- Collaborate with UI engineers, layout designers, art leads, artists, engineers, and managers.
- Use scripting, programming, graphics debugging, profiling, testing, and resource-management techniques to solve technical issues.
- Optimize assets and evaluate AI-assisted development tools to prototype, accelerate execution, and automate workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of games production experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with visual or textual scripting/programming, including Shader Graphs, Blueprints, Python, or C#; C++ is a bonus.
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Cinema 4D, and Figma.
- Proficiency with PIX, RenderDoc, and memory/runtime resource management.
- Experience with asset optimization challenges and techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to solve unfamiliar technical problems across creative and technical audiences.
- Experience with Unity, Unreal, and their UI systems is a plus.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools and critically reviewing and validating generated code.
- Passion for games.

- British Columbia compensation range of $104,500–$142,800 CAD.
