Base Salary
$99k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and iterate prompts for LLM-powered applications.
- Build or support LLM workflows and retrieval-augmented systems using chunking, embeddings, retrieval, and source-data grounding.
- Write clean, reusable Python code and contribute to AI/ML solution implementation.
- Assess, design, integrate, document, and troubleshoot technical and IT solutions.
- Collaborate with senior technical leaders and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and maintain alignment.
- Apply modern AI practices in secure, regulated, and mission-focused environments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in IT, systems administration, software development, systems integration, cloud services, data engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise applications, automation, or related technical disciplines.
- Experience with AI/ML, LLM-enabled tools, prompt engineering, automation, analytics, data workflows, or emerging technology solutions.
- Experience with Python and Git, GitHub, or other version control tools.
- Experience designing and iterating prompts and supporting technical solution assessment, integration, implementation, documentation, or troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a STEM field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
- Preferred experience with few-shot prompting, structured outputs, ReAct, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, responsible AI, vector databases, semantic search, evaluation sets, Jira, Confluence, API-driven workflows, healthcare or regulated data, Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, or AI Foundry tooling.
