Responsibilities
- Own and manage infrastructure as code while enabling engineering teams to self-serve through established best practices.
- Support engineering teams with design and implementation decisions.
- Manage cost and performance for multi-region deployments.
- Define and improve observability using the LGTM stack.
- Collaborate with cloud operations and engineering teams to refine practices.
- Reduce alert noise so that alerts are actionable.
- Automate repetitive work and communicate technical risks and incidents to varied audiences.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Terraform.
- Familiarity with multi-region, multi-cluster Kubernetes, ideally on Azure.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and tooling.
- Ability to learn, teach, communicate proactively, and advocate for effective technical practices.
- A pragmatic approach that balances reliability with delivery speed.
