Base Salary
$228k - $469k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set technical strategy and vision for ML systems that improve the content ecosystem.
- Develop a content ecosystem measurement framework with data science teams.
- Identify and close content gaps through model building and insights.
- Analyze content effectiveness using causal thinking and experimentation.
- Optimize content marketplace mechanisms balancing various incentives.
- Design multi-objective optimization approaches for ecosystem health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ecosystem problems into technical roadmaps.
- Mentor junior ML engineers through coaching and support.
- Establish best practices for data quality and model governance.
- Communicate technical proposals and influence stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong fundamentals in machine learning and optimization.
- Proven ability to lead technical strategy and deliver impact.
- Interest in marketplace dynamics and multi-objective tradeoffs.
- Experience with AI coding assistants for development tasks.
- Familiarity with LLM-powered productivity tools.
- Background in game theory or causal inference is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
