Responsibilities

  • Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
  • Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy software solutions.
  • Review technical challenges and modules, evaluate technologies and procedures, and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with peers, technical experts, engineering leaders, managers, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Lead projects, serve as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Apply engineering standards, best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
  • Support risk, compliance, governance, monitoring, escalation, and remediation requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum four years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Desired four or more years of application design and development experience using Java.
  • Desired four or more years of experience with database technologies such as Oracle and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot and Kafka.
  • Experience migrating applications to Google Cloud, Azure, or PCF is desired.
  • Experience with Cucumber and API automation is desired.
  • Familiarity with GenAI and Copilot is desired.
  • Experience in investment banking, especially reference data, is valued.
  • Cloud certification is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and apply systematic software development practices.
