- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy software solutions.
- Review technical challenges and modules, evaluate technologies and procedures, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with peers, technical experts, engineering leaders, managers, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Lead projects, serve as an escalation point, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
- Apply engineering standards, best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies.
- Support risk, compliance, governance, monitoring, escalation, and remediation requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum four years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Desired four or more years of application design and development experience using Java.
- Desired four or more years of experience with database technologies such as Oracle and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and Kafka.
- Experience migrating applications to Google Cloud, Azure, or PCF is desired.
- Experience with Cucumber and API automation is desired.
- Familiarity with GenAI and Copilot is desired.
- Experience in investment banking, especially reference data, is valued.
- Cloud certification is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and apply systematic software development practices.
