Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide architectural design and strategy for OpenText Exstream CCM solutions.
- Design integrations between Exstream Server and external systems using REST, SOAP, middleware, message brokers, and API gateways.
- Develop secure, scalable applications, APIs, workflows, automation, and high-volume document solutions.
- Design and configure forms, templates, data mappings, page designs, output queues, flow tables, rules, and document-processing workflows.
- Implement batch and on-demand document processing, composition, printing, reporting, and output generation.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, technical assessments, and Exstream version upgrades.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to development teams and collaborate with stakeholders, infrastructure teams, vendors, and cross-functional groups.
- Support deployment, operations, technical governance, compliance, testing, debugging, and implementation activities.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience developing and implementing OpenText Exstream solutions, including versions 11.x through 23.x and preferably 16x, 23x, or 24x.
- At least 2 years of scripting experience, including Unix scripting.
- Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript, with basic Java knowledge also noted as desirable.
- Extensive experience with REST, SOAP, middleware, enterprise integrations, Document Server integration, API gateways, message brokers, and integration patterns.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong knowledge of OpenText Exstream data mapping, page design, output queues, flow tables, PDF pass-through, Dialogue packaging, print and assembly rules, barcodes, variable data tags, and composition processing.
- Experience working with JSON, XML, CSV, reference files, PDF, AFP, Archive, email, HTML, Empower, DLF, and PostScript formats.
- Experience configuring and customizing Exstream messages, tables, frames, formula variables, rules, functions, document and page triggering rules, search keys, placeholders, tag sets, design layers, language layers, campaigns, and messages.
- Solid design, coding, testing, debugging, report creation, and technical implementation skills.
- Insurance-domain experience, OpenText certifications, compliance knowledge such as SOX and GDPR, vendor management, technical governance, leadership, mentoring, communication, and project management experience are preferred.
