Base Salary
$130k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and scale flexible, reliable security tooling and services that improve visibility and expand scan coverage.
- Design and deploy AI agents and security automation workflows for proactive security risk discovery and remediation.
- Partner with Security Engineering and Product Engineering to establish secure-by-default software design patterns and paved paths.
- Participate in design and system reviews for proactive security initiatives.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain availability and reliability for critical security services.
- Evaluate buy-versus-build opportunities and turn one-off solutions into robust, company-wide security capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and practical system design skills.
- Experience building scalable, reliable microservices and tools.
- Proficiency in Go or Python, with a preference for Go.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying services in cloud environments, preferably AWS or an equivalent GCP environment.
- Foundational knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes concepts.
- Understanding of the attacker lifecycle and application security concepts.
- Hands-on experience developing or integrating security tooling.
- Pragmatic, curious, collaborative approach with the ability to work through ambiguity and independently identify high-value solutions.
- Experience applying AI, LLMs, or agentic frameworks to security problems is a bonus.
- Developer productivity, security automation, toil-reduction, application security, bug bounty, CTF, advanced Kubernetes, or enterprise security platform experience is a bonus.
