Base Salary
$150k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy LLM-powered language learning products across the full stack.
- Enhance the quality and performance of existing AI-powered features.
- Build and iterate on conversational onboarding, lesson experiences, grammatical assessment and feedback, and personalized lessons.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Applied ML, Product, Design, and Content teams.
- Improve processes and best practices for prompting, experimentation, evaluation, LLM operations, and quality and performance measurement.
- Scale product features to more users and languages.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in full-stack/backend, product-focused software engineering.
- Proficiency with React, Node, TypeScript, and Python.
- Real-world experience developing and deploying LLM applications.
- Strong understanding of what works and does not work when building LLM applications.
- Experience with LLM operations and tools such as vector databases, RAG, and prompt operations.
- Strong intuition for improving LLM system performance and output quality.
- Strong product intuition and the ability to think cross-functionally about LLM-powered product experiences.
- Ability to work independently and build at high velocity.
