Base Salary
$115k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the systems behind growth surfaces including landing pages, activation flows, checkout, experiment infrastructure, and operator-facing controls.
- Run self-directed experiments and build systems that enable teams to iterate quickly across the growth funnel.
- Teach experimental rigor and best practices for conversion, activation, and retention.
- Ship standalone growth surfaces end to end with instrumentation for measuring results.
- Build and productionize growth systems, potentially including personalized landing pages or AI-powered lifecycle marketing engines.
- Partner with growth, marketing, sales, product operations, and customer success to drive business outcomes.
- Report experiment results and close the data loop across marketing, sales, activation, and retention.
- Champion user data hygiene, operational security, and privacy practices.
- Participate in engineering meetings, peer code review, candidate evaluation, hiring, and technical writing.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience shipping high-quality web applications, including at least two years working on growth problems.
- Strong experimental and data-driven thinking, including defining how experiments will be measured before implementation.
- Experience with and interest in cross-functional collaboration and independently unblocking work.
- Product and design sense, customer empathy, lightweight copywriting ability, and judgment about marketing and activation flows.
- Ability to stay current with AI tooling and critically evaluate its application to daily engineering work.
- Interest in building software that makes industries such as agriculture more sustainable and profitable.
- Experience in agriculture is a bonus.
- Experience building financial products is a bonus.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, React Native, Next.js, and/or a headless CMS such as Sanity is a bonus.
