Base Salary
$141k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software in C/C++.
- Develop and modify Linux kernel drivers and bare-metal embedded device drivers.
- Build standalone embedded applications and RESTConf interfaces.
- Work with TCP/IP, network configuration, IPSec, MACsec, TLS, and other networking protocols.
- Develop and test software for the Next Generation Encryptor high-speed encryptor.
- Collaborate with system, test, hardware, and other multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Plan, track, and report on project progress.
- Travel up to 10%.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of design and implementation experience with embedded software in C/C++.
- At least 2 years of Linux operating system experience, ideally in an embedded environment.
- Experience using Rust.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP and common network configuration.
- Object-oriented software development experience.
- Agile Scrum development experience and experience with CI/CD software.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- US citizenship and an active Secret or higher security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include Linux kernel driver development, bare-metal device drivers, NIOS, ARM, RISC-V, RESTConf, emulation environments, IPSec, MACsec, TLS, Python, Rust or similar languages, standalone embedded applications, and multidisciplinary team experience.

- Base pay range of $140,500.00-$221,500.00 annually, with a separate $174,000.00-$261,000.00 annual range for specified locations.
- Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided.
