Responsibilities
- Implement and support Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, code quality, security, governance, compliance, and backup solutions for enterprise customers.
- Understand customer development lifecycles, release management processes, version control strategies, and security requirements.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, branching strategies, release pipelines, deployment automation, and environment synchronization.
- Configure static code analysis, Salesforce governance, secure development, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls.
- Support customer workshops, implementations, solution validation, UAT, troubleshooting, production support, and handover documentation.
- Troubleshoot deployment failures, merge conflicts, version control issues, static analysis findings, and CI/CD pipeline failures.
- Configure backup and recovery solutions and support Salesforce Industries/Vlocity deployments where applicable.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support teams and provide implementation feedback.
- Prepare implementation documentation, deployment guides, knowledge articles, and customer handover materials.
- Adhere to established internal controls.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, release management, or Salesforce administration/development with DevOps exposure; the posting also states 5+ years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with at least one Salesforce DevOps or CI/CD platform such as AutoRABIT ARM, Copado, Flosum, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
- Experience with Git-based version control systems including GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or Azure Repos.
- Experience configuring or using static code analysis or application security tools such as AutoRABIT CodeScan, SonarQube, Salesforce Code Analyzer, PMD, or Checkmarx.
- Experience with Salesforce backup and recovery solutions such as AutoRABIT Vault or OwnBackup.
- Understanding of Salesforce metadata deployments, CI/CD, branching, merge conflict resolution, release management, deployment automation, DevSecOps, Secure SDLC, vulnerability remediation, and Salesforce security practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise Salesforce implementations across multiple environments and release streams.
- Exposure to Salesforce Industries/Vlocity, Vlocity Build Tool, DataPack deployments, or nCino is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer-interaction skills.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, or DevOps-related certifications are preferred; Salesforce Admin certification is specifically noted.
