Base Salary
$200k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for GenAI products using Python and FastAPI.
- Develop and operate LLM-powered applications and workflows using LangChain and related tools.
- Manage infrastructure using Terraform and apply infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for service health.
- Handle large datasets and collaborate on the platform data pipeline.
- Evaluate and select tools and define the technical strategy.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend services and ML workflows.
- Continuously improve monitoring and alerting processes.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Contribute to internal engineering standards and documentation.
- Mentor and guide others in engineering best practices.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop model monitoring and alerting systems.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in backend software development.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries like Pandas and Langchain.
- Experience with infrastructure for Machine Learning and Generative AI applications.
- Experience in security engineering or complex domains.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficient in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with model monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub and Jenkins.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proactive approach to work.
