Base Salary
$192k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement resilient interactions between client libraries and the control plane.
- Optimize the high-throughput, low-level streaming library for performance and efficiency.
- Champion the developer experience with support, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Lead high-stakes technical projects with end-to-end accountability.
- Collaborate with partner teams on broader project deliveries.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns to promote technical excellence.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in low-level programming languages, ideally Rust.
- Experience in performance optimization and debugging complex systems.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and gather requirements from stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a methodical approach to experimentation and iteration.
- Passion for user experience and empowering developers.
- Bonus: Experience with large-scale streaming systems like Kafka.
- Bonus: Familiarity with language bindings and FFI.
