Base Salary
$192k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement resilient interactions between client libraries and the control plane.
- Optimize the high-throughput, low-level streaming library for performance and efficiency.
- Provide user support, technical documentation, and proactive troubleshooting for internal users.
- Lead high-stakes technical projects with end-to-end accountability for delivery and quality.
- Collaborate with partner teams on cross-functional projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in low-level programming languages, ideally Rust.
- Experience with performance optimization and debugging complex systems.
- Ability to gather stakeholder requirements, communicate complex ideas, and lead high-impact technical initiatives.
- Commitment to developer experience and supporting internal users.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and mentor junior engineers and interns.
- Bonus: direct experience operating or using large-scale streaming systems such as Kafka.
- Bonus: familiarity with language bindings and FFI.
