Base Salary

$130k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

Rapidly design, build, and deliver end-to-end prototypes, demos, and proofs of concept.
Partner with sales and business development teams to conduct discovery and tailor prototypes to customer needs.
Represent the company independently in executive-level meetings and communicate technical and business value.
Work as a forward-deployed engineer embedded in customer and partner environments.
Surface customer insights, validate opportunities, and inform the product roadmap.
Provide technical guidance on APIs, integrations, cloud deployments, and lightweight AI/LLM applications.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing on product direction and positioning.
Create repeatable frameworks, toolkits, and playbooks for pre-sales prototyping.

3-5+ years of relevant post-college work experience.
Ability to rapidly prototype functional, semi-deployable solutions across modern technology stacks.
Programming proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
Experience working with AI/LLM-based tools, APIs, and modern developer ecosystems.
Strong customer-facing skills, including discovery, prospecting, business development, and partnership alignment.
Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives.
Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical complexity into business value.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% to client sites.
Preferred experience in technical pre-sales, forward deployment, or field engineering.
Preferred background in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or early-stage startups.
Ability to balance rapid prototyping with longer-term scalability considerations.
Strong storytelling skills for crafting narratives around prototypes and demos.
