Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-based agents and intelligent automation solutions using Python and Copilot-assisted development.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and analytics solutions with Snowflake and SQL.
- Design and automate functional testing frameworks.
- Identify delivery risks and develop or recommend mitigation strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design reviews for AI-agent architectures and implementations.
- Optimize Snowflake queries and database performance with data engineering and infrastructure teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support performance optimization.
- Mentor team members on Python, AI-agent development, Snowflake optimization, and testing automation.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of strong Python development experience.
- Advanced SQL expertise across SQL Server and Snowflake, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing and SQL query optimization.
- Proven experience developing AI-based agents and intelligent automation solutions.
- Ability to design and automate functional testing frameworks with a quality-engineering mindset.
- Proficiency with Copilot and Windsurf development environments.
- Experience with REST APIs, containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, DevOps practices, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and LLM integration is preferred.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring small teams is preferred.
- Exposure to enterprise data governance, data quality tools, cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, IBM DataStage, and ETL tools is preferred.
- Unified Engineer experience with a full-stack quality-assurance perspective is preferred.
