Base Salary

$119k - $161k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, customize, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and solutions.
  • Implement workflows, integrations, automations, access controls, Service Catalog features, and other ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Build and maintain integrations with external applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and authentication methods such as OAuth and Basic Auth.
  • Use JavaScript, ServiceNow scripts, ServiceNow SDK, Fluent, and related AI developer tools to accelerate delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and ensure system reliability through robust design, testing, and responsive issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and processes.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow trends and recommend innovative platform improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple assignments with shifting priorities.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of full software development lifecycle experience with strong JavaScript experience.
  • Proven software development experience outside the ServiceNow platform.
  • Advanced experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, UI Pages, Workflow, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Reporting, Database Views, and Performance Analytics.
  • Experience with AI Control Tower, Now Assist Skill Kit, Virtual Agent, AI Search, and Automated Test Framework.
  • Experience designing, building, and troubleshooting ServiceNow integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, OAuth, and Basic Auth.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing Now Assist applications for areas such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, or Creator.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and knowledge-sharing skills.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum project teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist or related Discovery, Event Management, or Service Mapping certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Event Management, Service Mapping, relational database concepts, Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint is preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification or willingness to obtain it within one year is preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust, have lived in the United States for at least three of the last five years, and pass a public trust background investigation.
