Responsibilities
- Develop automation solutions for layout generation, floor planning, AMS, and PDN.
- Create scalable CAD methodologies that improve design quality and productivity.
- Build software frameworks integrating EDA tools and design workflows.
- Automate analysis, debugging, optimization, and design-space exploration.
- Collaborate with design, layout, CAD, verification, and product engineering teams to deploy advanced design solutions.
- Apply AI and analytics to accelerate design convergence and closure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in CAD, layout, AMS, PDN, or EDA.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Tcl, C++, or similar languages.
- Experience developing production-quality automation tools and CAD methodologies.
- Working knowledge of floor planning, layout, AMS, or power integrity.
- Experience with commercial EDA tools and semiconductor design flows.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, memory design or custom-layout experience, advanced-node technology experience, AI or machine learning applied to design automation, and knowledge of Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens, or equivalent EDA platforms.
