Responsibilities
- Partner with researchers, engineers, artists, and designers to translate prototypes into production-ready game-engine features.
- Research and implement solutions to complex video-game development challenges.
- Conduct applied research in scene understanding, spatial reasoning, and visual quality evaluation, including integration, scaling, training, development, and support.
- Build demos showcasing novel world-building solutions and integrate them with modern game-engine technologies.
- Share findings and best practices while supporting team learning and collaboration.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, a STEM field, or equivalent practical experience related to game content creation.
- 7+ years of combined experience across graduate-degree research and professional or research experience.
- Proven expertise with Vision-Language Models and computer vision methods, including depth estimation and video segmentation.
- Hands-on experience with model training and inference.
- Experience translating research ideas into functional prototypes or demos.
- Strong Python and machine-learning framework skills using PyTorch or TensorFlow, plus experience with agentic frameworks.
- Genuine interest in video games and the application of AI to game development.
