Responsibilities
- Build software, test infrastructure, and tooling that enable engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Research AI-augmented agentic testing solutions and lead large-scale test automation initiatives.
- Monitor test environments and provide support when errors and incidents occur.
- Define end-to-end test strategies, analyze requirements, create test plans, and design regression, performance, and load test cases.
- Lead quality initiatives for one or more teams and improve engineering quality standards.
- Identify improvements in the technology stack and test products and systems to uncover issues.
- Use quality and performance metrics to drive quality improvements.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of testing experience, ideally with web applications.
- At least 7 years working directly with product teams in an agile environment.
- At least 6 years of UI and API automation experience.
- At least 1 year developing AI-augmented agentic testing frameworks and evaluations for AI-driven applications.
- At least 6 years working with CI/CD build pipelines focused on test automation, including GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Kubernetes.
- Experience developing and maintaining test automation tools with Puppeteer, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and MCP servers.
- Experience with API testing frameworks such as Postman, REST-assured, and Pact is preferred.
- Programming or scripting proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Python is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Startup experience, Agile development lifecycle testing, and strong written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
Benefits
- Targeted base salary in Canada is CAD $137,600–$172,000 annually.
