Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot infrastructure solutions, including Infrastructure as Code.
  • Build and support secure infrastructure patterns primarily in Red Hat Linux environments.
  • Lead the effective and responsible use of approved AI-assisted software development and automation tools.
  • Identify recurring issues and automate remediation to improve operational stability across applications and systems.
  • Evaluate vendor, startup, and internal architectural designs, technical credentials, and fit within existing systems and information architecture.
  • Provide hands-on engineering expertise while helping raise standards for quality, automation, resiliency, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience delivering infrastructure and system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience leading the use of AI-assisted software development tools and validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Proficiency across all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Advanced understanding of agile engineering practices, CI/CD, application resiliency, Infrastructure as Code, and security.
  • Strong practical experience implementing and supporting Red Hat Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of financial services technology landscapes and operating environments is preferred.
  • Practical cloud-native experience is preferred.
