Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve secure CI/CD pipelines and reusable pipeline templates for microservices, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, platform services, and AI/ML workloads.
- Implement progressive delivery, blue-green and canary deployments, feature flags, controlled rollouts, deployment health checks, and automated rollback signals.
- Own pipeline health, performance, reliability, onboarding, and self-service adoption across product teams.
- Embed SAST, DAST, SCA, container and image scanning, IaC security checks, policy checks, SBOM generation and verification, provenance, artifact signing, dependency governance, and secrets management into delivery workflows.
- Engineer Kubernetes and cloud platform automation, reusable infrastructure-as-code modules, GitOps delivery patterns, and secure environment provisioning across development, test, staging, and production.
- Integrate metrics, logs, traces, OpenTelemetry, DORA metrics, error budgets, runbooks, incident response, on-call support, and disaster recovery automation.
- Act as technical lead for the DevSecOps and platform automation team, owning delivery commitments, conducting code and design reviews, and mentoring engineers.
- Create documentation, runbooks, golden-path guidance, and enablement materials for product teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years focused on DevSecOps, CI/CD, and platform automation.
- Proven experience building and operating automated delivery pipelines and platform capabilities in production.
- Experience leading or acting as technical lead for a small engineering team or workstream.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems, artifact repositories, container registries, pipeline-as-code, and reusable templates.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform, with Azure preferred and AWS or GCP also valued.
- Hands-on Kubernetes and container orchestration experience and strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills, particularly Terraform.
- Working knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and secrets management.
- Hands-on experience integrating SAST, DAST, and SCA tools, plus container, cloud, and IaC security scanning.
- Familiarity with policy-as-code and awareness of SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, and related compliance frameworks.
- Strong coding and scripting skills in Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
- Nice-to-have experience includes AI/ML or Agentic AI pipelines, GitOps tooling, regulated environments, internal developer platforms, and relevant Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications.
