Base Salary
$86k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and review of test strategies and plans, including scope, tools, and testing approaches.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions and frameworks using Python and Java.
- Provide technical direction, guidance, coaching, and best-practice leadership across the testing lifecycle.
- Identify resource and environment gaps and escalate unresolved or recurring issues to Quality Engineer leadership.
- Monitor and manage testing risks and defects, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with ECO standards.
- Prepare test summary reports and documentation for technology leaders, governance and risk teams, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, QE analysts, and cross-functional teams, including participation in Quality Engineer CoP meetings.
- Provide strategic direction for testing and serve as a subject matter expert for quality engineering and supported business domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 years of relevant or direct industry experience.
- Strong expertise designing, developing, and delivering scalable testing solutions.
- Experience leading engineering teams, providing technical direction, and driving testing best practices.
- Experience with architectural decisions, modern technologies, automation frameworks, and end-to-end project delivery.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, software testing, application testing, test case development, usability testing, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to manage risk, troubleshoot technical issues, document testing results, coach others, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may substitute for a degree.
- Certifications are often desired, but no certification is required.
