Responsibilities
- Drive enterprise-level test strategies and plans aligned with organizational objectives and delivery timelines.
- Design and drive test automation strategies, frameworks, standards, platforms, tools, and utilities.
- Lead adoption of automation, AI-driven testing, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering practices across teams.
- Oversee risk and defect processes, including adherence to ECO standards and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and deliver test summary reports and documentation for technology leaders, governance and risk teams, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate across teams and participate in Quality Engineer Community of Practice meetings.
- Mentor and provide strategic oversight to junior Quality Engineer team members.
- Escalate systemic issues and influence resolution strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
- Knowledge of application testing, system testing, software quality assurance and testing, software development life cycle, and technical troubleshooting.
- Experience with test automation strategy, frameworks, quality engineering practices, and technical documentation.
- Ability to coach others, influence stakeholders, manage processes, and assess risk.
- Preferred skills include Selenium, machine learning, enterprise architecture frameworks, design, customer solutions, and technical knowledge.
- Comparable combinations of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
