Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain Data Platform reliability, uptime, performance, scalability, and SLA compliance.
- Manage deployments, data pipeline stability, dashboard refreshes, incident response, troubleshooting documentation, and on-call support.
- Design and maintain monitoring dashboards and SRE frameworks while automating and modernizing operational processes.
- Support data quality, reconciliation, data assurance, governance, security, privacy, lifecycle management, and disaster recovery activities.
- Optimize the Datactics platform and use generative or agentic AI and automation to improve efficiency and self-healing capabilities.
- Collaborate with Data & Analytics, Security, and other cross-functional teams to deliver reliable platform changes.
Requirements
- Experience supporting scalable, high-performance data platforms in hybrid Azure environments, including relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouses, and cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL tools, monitoring and logging, DevOps, version control, data security, and data governance.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration, T-SQL, DML, DDL, SSIS, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Experience with Azure technologies including ADLS, ADF, Azure SQL Database, Delta Lake, Azure DevOps, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Key Vaults, and Storage Accounts.
- Experience with Terraform, Python or PySpark, data modeling, data integration, ETL processes, governance, and security.
- Experience with incident management, high availability and disaster recovery, ITSM principles, and Site Reliability Engineering.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, Agile working practices, and producing concise technical and non-technical documentation.
- Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Experience with Datactics or similar platforms and generative or agentic AI is preferred.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
