Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality Java software solutions.
- Build and manage BAMOE workflow-driven applications using BPMN, DMN, rules, and decision services.
- Develop and integrate business process workflows using BAMOE and BPMN-based engines such as jBPM.
- Design RESTful APIs and microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
- Integrate workflow services with backend systems using Kafka, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for reliable deployment.
- Collaborate with architects and product teams on scalable system architecture and API design.
- Ensure the security, performance, reliability, monitoring, logging, and observability of APIs and workflow services.
- Participate in code reviews, testing strategy, automated testing, and production issue resolution.
- Lead complex assignments, guide team members, influence stakeholders, and support risk and control objectives.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and workflow engines such as BAMOE.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience building workflow applications with BPMN, DMN, business rules, and decision services.
- Experience with BAMOE, jBPM, or Kamunda and understanding of BPM workflow orchestration and process automation.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and familiarity with OpenShift or Azure services.
- Experience with Kafka or other message brokers and event-driven communication.
- Knowledge of API gateway patterns, performance tuning, security, reliability, and observability.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Insomnia, or Postman.
- Additional valued experience with ELK, Splunk, AppDynamics, Jest, Appium, or Detox.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead complex work, guide team members, collaborate across functions, and manage risk and controls.
